REMEMBER GAZA!

One year ago saw one of the biggest demonstrations ever in the history over the injustices perpetrated by the Israeli state against Palestine. One year ago the people of Gaza, already effectively imprisoned in a strip of land, were bombarded by the might of the Israeli Defence Army. Millions of people were horrified, and protested against such an appalling abuse of human life.

Now, one year on, people of Gaza are once again suffering. This time, it is the Egyptian government which is blockading access of aid to Gaza. Around 2,000 Egyptian riot police have attacked members of the Viva Palestina aid convoy at the port of al-Arish – on the Egyptian side of the border with Gaza – after the convoy was refused entry to the crossing.

On Saturday 16th Jan we want to send a clear message that people of Cambridge will not remain silent about the suffering of the Palestinians. Join us for
